We are all about showing love over at HHK Team UK. One of the guys that have been supportive of the Kemp cause is the Sheffield brand XCVB. Their garms are of a high quality as is their excellent taste in music and all things interesting. Check their blog and see what their up to. HHK UK: Who does what?

XCVB: XCVB is owned and run by Tommy Moore and Jay Jazz Hope. We tend to do most stuff together really, though Jay looks after most of the design work whilst I pretend to send emails!

HHK UK: How would you describe the XCVB look?

XCVB : FUCKING ACE! We kind of don’t have a style or a certain look. We simply create designs that we ourselves would like to wear and then just hope that a tiny fraction of the world’s population might like them too.

HHK UK: How long have you been running the brand?

XCVB : The brand officially launched in April of this year, so we are still fairly new amongst independent labels but we are really happy with how things are going so far. We had planned on doing the label for about 3 years.....we can’t really remember what we did for those 3 years though....mainly partying.

HHK UK: What connection does the brand have to music?

XCVB : We sponsor two highly talented local DJs: Danny Beck (Bigger than Barry//UGLY) and Wonky Ninja (Banana//UGLY). Danny and Wonky runs a Hip Hop night in Sheffield called UGLY which XCVB sponsors. We go every week and it’s always a great night full of wonderful people wearing XCVB. We’ll also be providing C.Monts with some tees for this year’s Hip Hop Kemp! We hear it’s the 10th anniversary so it should be a big bash! It’s only right that we are there in spirit (or T Shirt!)

HHK UK: What are you currently listening to?

XCVB: OFWGKTA, Das Racist, Biggie, Little Dragon, Sbtrkt, Rye Rye

HHK UK: What are you not listening to?

XCVB: The Chart music, especially in the UK is pretty horrendous at the moment. The UK new talent (if you can call it there),

Cher Lloyd is just an embarrassment.

HHK UK: Who shot the sheriff?

XCVB: He committed suicide.
